If you haven’t used a food delivery app yet, Uber Eats lets you order food straight from your mobile device from different places around you. It will take your current location and show you restaurants nearby that can deliver food for you via Uber Eats. You can filter by the type of cuisine you like or even search the menus for a particular item.

Once you place your order, the app will let you know the status of your food, when they finished preparing it, when an Uber driver picks it up, and will give you an estimated time of arrival up to when the driver is already at your doorstep, including the plate number of the vehicle that’s used. I chose to meet my driver down the street. Food was inside an insulated bag and the transaction went by quickly. I just gave him my name and he gave me my food. That’s it. No money was exchanged.
